Pure Life Renal of Louisville is a beautiful facility conveniently located on Taylorsville Road with plenty of patient parking. We are open Monday through Saturday and offer both in-center hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Our dedicated staff are there to ensure the safety, comfort and quality care to each individual patient.
Our medical director is Dr. Don Ryan Duff, who is an established and leading Kidney specialist with over thirty years of nephrology experience. He is well regarded throughout Kentuckiana, earning numerous accolades for his quality and patient-centered care. He has been named a Louisville Top Doc many times, and he was honored by the National Kidney Foundation with the prestigious Making Lives Better Award.
An alumnus of the University of Virginia and the University of Louisville School of Medicine, he is a continuous learner, staying up to date on Nephrology's latest advances, particularly regarding transplants. He was responsible for establishing the UK Transplant Program in Louisville.
Dr. Duff has served as a Medical Director at more than 20 different Medical Facilities throughout Kentuckiana. He has been a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Norton Audubon hospital for over two decades, also serving as president of the Medical Staff.
During his 15 year tenure as the President of his practice, Dr. Duff developed a Vascular Access Center and was instrumental in building new Dialysis Units across Kentucky in rural areas.
Dr. Duff loves horse racing, sports, classic movies, spending time with his family, and interacting with his patients.
